課程概述

醫用昆蟲學 (Medical entomology) 為應用昆蟲學之一分支學科，研究具有醫學重要性的昆蟲及其近緣節肢動物如何危害人畜，並研究防治醫學昆蟲的策略、原理和應用技術的科學。主要內容包括： 醫學昆蟲的分類鑑定、生態習性、危害方式和疾病關係、防治原理。本課程綱要如下：

課程目標
 本課程的目標是要使學生具備醫學重要性昆蟲的為害方式、生物學及防治方法的基本知識，並認識常見醫學重要性昆蟲類群的種類。  
課程要求
 修習的學生要準時上課，主動參與討論，並依期限繳交作業。
